This site collects very little, and we do not sell any of it. This page explains exactly what is collected, why, and who touches it.
What you give us
When you fill in the contact form, we receive your name, your company, your email address, your phone number if you enter one, your message, and which language version of the site you were using.
We use that to answer you. Nothing else.
What is collected automatically with the form
When a form is submitted, we also receive the internet address it came from, the browser it was sent with, and the page it was sent from. That is used for one job: telling a real inquiry apart from an automated one, so real messages reach us and junk does not.
Visitor measurement
We count visits so we know which fabrics and collections people look at. This is done with a tool called PostHog.
It is set up to keep nothing on your device. No analytics cookie is stored, and you are not followed from one visit to the next or from this site to any other site. We see how many people viewed a page. We do not see who you are.
There is no advertising tracking on this site and no advertising pixel of any kind.
Cookies
The public site does not set any tracking or advertising cookies. The only cookie this site can set is a sign-in cookie for J&L staff using the private content system, and that only exists once someone signs in there.
Who else handles it
We use a small number of service providers to run the site. They only handle your information to provide their service to us.
- Vercel, which serves the website.
- Supabase, which stores the catalog and the images.
- PostHog, which counts visits as described above.
- EmailIt, which delivers form notifications to our inbox.
- VENTR, which builds and maintains the site for us.
How long we keep it
Messages sent through the contact form are kept in our email as part of the normal business record. Visit counts are kept in aggregate and are not tied to a person.
Your choices
Email customerservice@jandlfabrics.com or call (772) 340-6109 and ask us to send you a copy of what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. We will do it, and we will confirm when it is done.
Children
This is a wholesale trade site. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Last reviewed August 26, 2026.
